Chapter 1: The Queen’s Wish and Snow White’s Beauty.
Once upon a time, in the heart of winter, a queen sat by her ebony-framed window sewing |while snow fell gently outside|. As she worked, she accidentally pricked her finger with the needle, and three drops of blood fell onto the snow. The contrast was so beautiful that the queen softly said:
“Oh, how I wish for a child as white as snow, as red as blood, and as black as this ebony window frame.”
Soon after, the queen |gave birth to a daughter| who was exactly as she had wished: skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony. She named the girl Snow White.
A few years later, the king remarried. His new wife was extremely beautiful but also proud and cruel. |She owned a magical mirror| and every day would ask it:
“Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who’s the fairest of them all?”
The mirror always replied:
“You, my queen, are the fairest of all.”
The queen was pleased, for she knew the mirror always spoke the truth.
Meanwhile, Snow White grew up to become more and more beautiful. When she turned seven years old, her beauty surpassed even that of the queen. One day, when the queen asked her usual question, the mirror answered:
“You, my queen, are fair, it is true,
But |Snow White is fairer than you|.”
Overcome with jealousy, the queen could not bear the thought of anyone being more beautiful than her. She began plotting to get rid of Snow White.
Chapter 2: The Hunter and the Cabin.
The queen asked the hunter to take Snow White deep into the forest and make her get lost. However, when the hunter saw the sadness in Snow White’s eyes, he felt sorry for her and decided to let her go. He then took the red ribbon that Snow White always wore in her hair and brought it back to the queen as proof.
Snow White, |scared and alone, ran through the forest| until she found a small and charming cottage. When she entered, she was surprised to see everything so neat, with seven tiny chairs and plates on the table. She went upstairs and found seven little beds, all lined up so nicely!
|Tired, Snow White lay down| on one of the beds and soon fell into a deep sleep. When the owners of the cabin, seven dwarfs who worked in the mountains, arrived, they were surprised to find the girl there. They asked:
"Who is sleeping in our beds?"
Snow White woke up and told them her story. The dwarfs, seeing how sad and lonely she was, said:
"You can stay here with us. If you help with the housework, we will protect you."
Snow White was very happy and began to help with joy. The dwarfs, however, warned:
"Be careful! Don’t open the door to strangers while we are not home."
Chapter 3: The Queen’s Trickery.
Meanwhile, at the castle, the queen asked the mirror:
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, is there anyone more beautiful than I?"
And the mirror replied:
"You are beautiful, my queen, this is true,
But Snow White, who lives with the dwarfs, is more beautiful than you."
The queen, very upset, made a plan to get rid of Snow White forever. She disguised herself as a peddler |and went to the dwarfs’ house|. When Snow White opened the door, the woman offered a beautiful mirror decorated with lovely patterns:
"Look at this beautiful mirror! Let me help you use it."
Snow White, thinking it was just a gift, accepted. But soon after looking into the mirror, she felt very tired and fainted.
When the dwarfs returned home, they found Snow White unconscious. They helped her and warned her:
"Don’t accept any more gifts from strangers!"
The queen, upon hearing that Snow White was still okay, became even angrier. She then disguised herself once again and went to the cottage with a beautiful comb. When Snow White accepted the gift and combed her hair, she became very sleepy. The dwarfs, when they returned, quickly woke her up.
Finally, the queen, disguised once more, brought a delicious-looking apple. Snow White, wary, hesitated, but the queen insisted, saying the apple was very sweet and tasty. When Snow White |took a bite of the apple|, she fell into a deep sleep.
Chapter 4: The Prince and Happily Ever After.
Many years passed, and Snow White remained as beautiful as the day she fell asleep. One day, a prince who was passing through the forest saw the beautiful girl in the glass coffin. He fell in love with her and asked the dwarfs:
"Please, may I take Snow White to my castle?"
The dwarfs, with full hearts, agreed. During the journey, the prince |tripped, and as he fell|, the piece of the apple was dislodged from Snow White’s mouth. To everyone’s surprise, she woke up!
Snow White opened her eyes and smiled. The prince, overjoyed, said:
"You are awake! Will you marry me and live in my castle?"
Snow White happily accepted, and the wedding |was celebrated with great festivities|. All the guests were happy, and even the queen, seeing how radiant and happy Snow White was, was satisfied and wished her a wonderful life.
Snow White and the prince lived happily ever after, with the company of the seven dwarfs, who became great friends.
The End.
