Chapter 1: The Garden of Hope.

“Once upon a time, there was a girl named Ella who lived with her parents in a modest home surrounded by a vast and beautiful garden. Her mother, a kind and loving woman, spent her days tending to flowers and taking care of Ella. Beneath the shade of a tall hazel tree in the garden, mother and daughter would |spend hours talking and playing|.
‘Always treat others with kindness, Ella,’ her mother would say as she planted flowers. ‘The world can be cruel, but love and kindness will always find a way to bloom.’
Ella was happy and helped her mother with everything, from picking flowers for the table |to sweeping fallen leaves in autumn|. But one day, her mother fell gravely ill. Despite their best efforts, she grew weaker.
Before passing, she called Ella close and held her hands.
‘My dear, when you miss me, go to the hazel tree. There, you will always find comfort and strength.’
Ella promised. When her mother passed away, she visited the tree daily, |crying out loud and caring for it|. The tree seemed to grow stronger with each tear she shed.
A few months later, Ella’s father decided to remarry. He believed a new wife could bring stability to the household and help care for Ella. But the woman he chose, |though elegant and refined, had a cold heart|. She brought her two daughters with her, who were as beautiful as they were cruel.
At first, Ella tried to befriend the girls, but they had no interest in becoming sisters. They mocked her simple clothes and love for the garden.
When Ella’s father left on a long business trip, the stepmother revealed her true nature. She ordered Ella to sleep in the attic, a small, cold room, and made her do all the housework. Her stepsisters |laughed and barked orders at her|.
Despite everything, Ella |kept her kind and beautiful heart|. Every night, after finishing her chores, she went to the garden to talk to her mother’s tree.

Chapter 2: The First Wish.

The days of hard work turned into months, and Ella became known as ‘Cinderella’ because of the cinders that always stained her clothes. Even with her struggles, she continued visiting her mother’s grave. One day, as she wept under the hazel tree, something |magical happened in front of her|: birds began bringing small twigs and shiny leaves to the tree.
|The little birds sang happily|:
‘Whenever you need, come to us here, and magic will lend you cheer.’
Cinderella was amazed. She felt as though her mother was somehow protecting her through the tree.
Some time later, the kingdom announced a grand event: a ball would be held at the palace, and all the unmarried young women were invited. The prince was searching for a bride, and the king wanted him to choose someone from the kingdom.
Cinderella’s stepsisters were ecstatic. They spent days trying on dresses and practicing dances. Shyly, Cinderella asked:
‘May I go to the ball too?’
|The stepsisters laughed so hard| they nearly fell to the floor.
‘You? In your filthy rags?!’ they mocked.
The stepmother, with a cruel smile, said:
‘Of course, Cinderella. If you finish all the chores and have a proper dress, you can go.’
On the day of the ball, Cinderella worked tirelessly: washing clothes, cleaning windows, and polishing the floors until she was exhausted. When she finished, it was late, and she had no dress to wear. |She went to the garden alone|, sobbing under the hazel tree.
‘Dear mother, please help me. I want to go to the ball, but I don’t know how.’
|The little birds sang again|, and the tree swayed gently. Suddenly, a golden dress descended from its branches, accompanied by silver slippers. Cinderella quickly put them on and rushed to the castle.

Chapter 3: Midnight’s Magic.

At the castle, everyone was mesmerized by Cinderella’s beauty. Her golden gown shimmered like candlelight, and her |silver shoes sparkled like stars|. Her stepsisters and stepmother didn’t recognize her, thinking she was a princess from a faraway land.
The prince, enchanted, approached her and asked her to dance. Cinderella accepted, and they spent the night talking and dancing, as though they had known each other forever. The prince paid no attention to anyone else.
As |the clock began to strike midnight|, Cinderella remembered the birds’ warning. She had to leave before the magic wore off. |She ran out of the ballroom|, leaving the prince confused. On the palace steps, one of her silver slippers slipped off, but she didn’t stop to pick it up.
When she got home, Cinderella changed back into her simple clothes and lay down in the attic, exhausted but happy.
The next day, the prince announced he would search for the owner of the silver slipper. He would visit every house, trying the shoe on every young woman in the kingdom.

Chapter 4: The Perfect Fit.

When the prince arrived at Cinderella’s house, the stepmother did everything to prevent her from being seen. First, she locked Cinderella in the attic, |but the little birds sang loudly| at the window, drawing the prince’s attention.
The stepsisters tried to fit into the slipper, but it didn’t fit. One even cut off her toe to force the shoe on, |but the little birds cried|:
‘Look at the blood in the shoe! The real owner is here, too!’
Finally, Cinderella was called. When she tried on |the slipper, it fit perfectly|. The prince smiled at her.
‘It’s you! I knew I would find you.’
Cinderella returned to the palace, where the prince asked her to marry him. On the day of the wedding, the stepsisters begged for forgiveness, but the birds, who had always protected Cinderella, drove them away. Cinderella forgave their cruelty but never let them hurt her again.
And so, Cinderella and the prince lived happily ever after, |with great love and magic| always by their side.
